The Quantum Energy Initiative (QEI) is a novel initiative that emerged from the need to protect the energetic footprint of quantum technologies.  

Deeply aware of the challenges of our era, Qilimanjaro has pledged its commitment and signed the QEI Manifesto supporting the initiative in minimizing the energetic footprint. Awareness brings also a constant adaptation to our environmental resources and a conscious use for our quantum technologies as well as for our society in general.

With an integrated team of software, theory and hardware groups, we are one of the quantum companies that better understands the energy consumption and responsibilities to plan our projects and objectives.

Now we are looking forward to having the entire quantum community joining and supporting the QEI Initiative and meeting everybody at the first QEI 2023 conference.
