At the beginning of 2020, Qilimanjaro participated in the project “Survey on Current  Competitive Landscape and Investment Activities” at the  Global Markets, Local Creativities (GLOCAL), an International Masters, taught in collaboration with University of Barcelona(UB).

Our chief-business officer, Victor Canivell, introduced the master students to the quantum mechanics and quantum technologies landscape. Qilimanjaro has been of great support and guidance at every stage of the consulting project bringing relevant information in the areas of hardware and software startups, national programs of investment in quantum technologies and venture capital.

The knowledge the students acquired during this project went beyond basic information on quantum computing. They learned about the types of hardware and software technologies and latest advancements in the field, the biggest players and direction of market investments.
