“Disruptores e Innovadores”, the leading portal from El Español, on innovation, digitalization, startups and new frontiers of technology, held the second edition of the D+I Innovation Awards on Thursday, November 10 at the Real Fábrica de Tapices in Madrid.
This event has already become a reference of the innovative ecosystem in Spain and where the highest awards for innovation and disruption in Spain were presented, pointing the way to digitization with the example of the best projects of the moment.
These prestigious awards, chosen by reputable members of the ecosystem (independent analysts, top-level executives, academics,) with a double filter that guarantees maximum transparency, honesty and independence: a first screening carried out by the D+I editorial team and the final vote among the 50 finalists by a jury from outside the media.
During the ceremony, the CUCO project received the award for the “Best digitization project in a large company” and was described as the first large national and corporate quantum computing project with the aim of advancing scientific and technological knowledge of quantum computing algorithms through public-private collaboration.
CUCO projects is a consortium collaboration of seven companies : Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, Amatech, BBVA, DAS Photonics, GMV, Multiverse Computing and Repsol, supported by five research centers (BSC, CSIC, DIPC, ICFO and Tecnalia) and a public university (Universitat Politècnica de València), to advance research into quantum computing applied to strategic industries of the Spanish economy: energy, finance, space, defense and logistics.
Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech is proud to be a part of the biggest Spanish project advancing quantum computing in the Spanish ecosystem and working with Quantum Annealing algorithms, the differentiation brought by our quantum experts, designed to solve optimization problems.
Congratulations to all the consortium collaborators for this recognition of D+I Innovation Awards and we hope it represents an impulse for excellent results backed by hard work and dedication for this project.
